2 Arrested After Fatal Shooting at West Park Strip Club: BSO

Broward Sheriff's detectives have arrested two men who they said are responsible for an altercation at a West Park gentlemen's club that escalated into violence.

One victim was fatally shot in the club's parking lot, and a second was grazed by a stray bullet.

Just before 4 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to the sound of shots being fired at the Playhouse Gentlemen's Club at 5775 West Hallandale Beach Boulevard in West Park.

BSO said the victim, Patrick Christopher Clark, 40, had argued with a group of club patrons during the night.

Clark went out to his car and was shot at multiple times by Roy Stewart and Burton Harjo, according to BSO. Clark was wounded and fell between parked cars. He died at the scene.

A second female victim was struck in the wrist when a stray bullet entered the club through a metal commercial-grade door. The employee sustained a minor injury and was treated on scene.

Detectives interviewed more than 20 patrons and employees at the club. They examined forensic evidence and reviewed surveillance video before arresting Stewart, 25, and Harjo, 46, for first degree murder.

BSO said Stewart has nine prior arrests in Broward County and Harjo has 14 prior arrests.

There's no word on whether the suspects have hired attorneys.
