One person is dead after an amateur experimental aircraft went down on Lake Okeechobee Saturday morning, reported NBC affiliate WPTV.
The incident happened just after 8 a.m. near the Pahokee Marina, the station reported.
Only one person was on the plane when it went down, Captain Albert Borroto with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue told WPTV.
