One person was killed and another person was hospitalized after an early morning shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade Monday.
Police officers rushed to the scene near Northwest 17th Place and 77th Avenue just before 3 a.m., where the found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
A short distance from the scene, officers found the body of another man who had been shot. That victim was declared dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released the identity of either victim or a description of the possible shooter involved.
