One of two women accused of drugging and robbing a Miami man of $200,000 worth of jewelry back in September has been arrested, authorities said.
Yaqueline Solis, 28, was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges including armed robbery, armed burglary, using a firearm while committing a felony and providing a false name or ID after arrest, according to an arrest report.
The incident happened back on Sept. 14, when the victim met the women while hanging out with friends at Prime 112 and spent the night out with them then took them back to his apartment on Southwest 3rd Street in Brickell, Miami Police officials said.
Once inside his home, the two women prepared alcoholic beverages, walked into the man’s bedroom, and at gunpoint, forced him to drink a laced cocktail, police said. The man passed out and woke up hours later to discover $200,000 worth of watches and other items gone.
The arrest report said the victim identified the Solis as one of the suspects after police received a Crime Stoppers tip. When police found Solis, she was in a stolen car and gave a fake name, the report said.
Solis was booked into jail where she was being held without bond Thursday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
