    NBC 6 Evening Forecast: July 29, 2019

NBC 6 Chief Meteorologist John Morales has the evening forecast for Monday, July 29, 2019.

The National Hurricane Center said a disturbance in the eastern Caribbean Sea has a 10% chance of developing in the next five days.

The disturbance has a 0% chance of developing within the next two days, NHC officials said.

"Shower activity associated with a tropical wave over the eastern Caribbean Sea has decreased since yesterday (Sunday)," NHC said in a statement. "Atmospheric conditions as well as land effects should inhibit the development of this system as it moves west-northwestward for the next several days."

The disturbance could still produce an increase of cloudiness and thunderstorms over Puerto Rico, the Greater Antilles, portions of the Bahamas and South Florida by the weekend.
