Eight adults had to be taken to the hospital and two had to be treated on the scene of a Florida City car crash Friday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue says they initially responded to a call just before 11:00 a.m. saying a van and a single vehicle had crashed at Southwest 5th Street and Sixth Avenue in Florida City.
Upon arrival, they found multiple people injured, two of whom had to be airlifted to Kendall Regional Hospital's trauma center.
The van appears to belong to Leal Medical Center, and may have been transporting patients at the time of the crash.
In all, crews transported 10 patients to the hospital for treatment.
Their conditions are not yet known.
