A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized after being bitten by a shark in Florida's Cocoa Beach Sunday, according to NBC affiliate WESH 2 News.
The boy was bitten in his calf before lifeguards and paramedics were able to assist him. He was swimming in waist-deep water at Lori Wilson Park, according to Brevard County Ocean Rescue.
The boy was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando where he will be treated.
His condition is unavailable at this time.
