A 14-year-old boy was rushed the hospital after he was shot in the face in Miami Sunday afternoon.
Miami Police said the teenager was shot in the area of NW 15th Avenue and 68th Terrace. The teen was apparently being chased by a shooter, authorities said. Multiple shell casings were found.
Police said the boy was conscious and alert when he was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
He was shot three times, including once in the mouth, police said. Officials said he wasn't cooperating with police.
