2 Attacked by Costumed Group in Central Florida: Deputies

Authorities say one person has been stabbed in the head and another hit with a hockey stick after both were attacked by a crowd of people wearing Halloween costumes in central Florida.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a news release that two men who were in a car Monday night felt like they hit something with their vehicle.

Lt. Terri Piwowarski says the driver and his passenger got out to see what happened and that's when they were confronted and attacked by about 20 people dressed in costumes.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. No arrests had been made as of late Monday.

The investigation is ongoing.
