2 Bodies Found in Fort Lauderdale, Police Investigation Underway

Fort Lauderdale Police are investigating after two bodies were found Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators were called to the 1300 block of Northeast 3rd Avenue near Northeast 13th Street in Fort Lauderdale.

Police said they received an anonymous tip about the bodies behind a home. They found the bodies of two adult males and they're calling the circumstances "suspicious."

Investigators have determined the men were shot to death. Their names have not been released.

This is the same complex where a man was found dead inside his home just months ago.

Back in October, investigators said Robert Reagan's body was discovered less than 12 hours after telling police he suspected neighborhood drug dealers of vandalizing his truck after he told them to get off his property. His murder remains unsolved.

"We're trying really hard to keep this kind of thing from escalating in our area so today it's a little sad and sort of a step back because now we're hearing that something else has happened right on the very bad corner," said Donna Collins, area resident.

Investigators said they don't believe Tuesday's incident is related to the murder in October.

If you know anything about either case, you're urged to call police immediately.
