2 Facing Charges in Road Rage Incident Caught on Camera: Homestead Police

Two motorists involved in a frightening road rage encounter that was caught on video and viewed hundreds of thousands of times on YouTube are now facing charges, Homestead Police said Wednesday.

Rone Gonzalez, who was operating a motorcycle during the encounter, and Kristiian Rosa, who was driving a car, were arrested, police said. Gonzalez bonded out of jail Thursday morning.

Gonzalez, 23, is charged with reckless driving, while Rosa, 30, is charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and reckless driving. It's unknown if either has an attorney.

The three and a half minute video, posted to YouTube by the motorcyclist under the user name Roni g on Monday, showed the motorcycle speeding down streets, sometimes on the wrong side of the road, as he was being pursued by the red car.

The drivers got into a verbal argument once they were side-by-side.

Police said the incident started at a red light and could have ended there, if both drivers kept their cool and didn't lose their tempers.
