2 Florida Runners Win Keys Bridge Race Again

Two Florida runners have repeated as winners of the Seven Mile Bridge Run in the Florida Keys.

Josh Peterson, 22, of Boca Raton, was the top finisher Saturday among 1,500 participants with a time of 39 minutes, 18 seconds. Laura DiBella, 36, of Amelia Island, completed the course in 42:55. Each also won the men's and women's divisions last year.

John Reback, 44, of Jupiter, finished second in the men's division with a time of 39:43. Placing third at 40:33 was Mike Stone, 35, of Boca Raton.

Helena Bursa, 39, of Big Pine Key, placed second in the women's division at 45:34. Nicole Matysik, 14, of Key West came in third at 46:57.

The bridge is the longest of 42 that comprise the Florida Keys Overseas Highway.
