One person was killed and another was hospitalized after a fire swept through a home in southwest Miami-Dade Monday morning.
Crews responded to the home in the 9200 block of Southwest 46th Terrace and were able to extinguish the fire.
But Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said two people had to be taken to local hospitals, where one of them later died. The other person's condition was unknown.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
