Two women were hospitalized after two airboats collided in the Florida Everglades Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. near 35000 Everglades Parkway at Mile Marker 35 and I-75 in Western Broward.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, a private airboat collided with a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission biologist's airboat.
A woman from each boat was taken to Broward Health Medical Center and neither injury is believed to be life threatening, BSO officials said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
