2 Men Fatally Shot in Armed Carjacking: Miami-Dade PD

Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that left two people dead early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to shots fired call at the 12000 block of southwest 220 Street in Miami around 4 a.m.

Officers discovered two males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and an unharmed female victim.

The two men were standing next to the Cadillac CTS belonging to 46-year-old Edward Seymour when a black male approached and shot both him and 36-year-old VonTavius Sands.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced both males deceased.

After shooting the Seymour and Sands, the shooter entered the driver's seat of the vehicle pointed a gun at Tracy Walker, 48, who was seated in the passenger seat. The robber demanded her property and told her to get out of the car. He then fled southbound in the vehicle.

Authorities say the Cadillac CTS has been recovered. The investigation ongoing.
