Two teen brothers are dead following a shooting in northeast Miami late Sunday.

Family members said 14-year-old Steven Blanc shot his 16-year-old brother, Stanley Blanc, before turning the gun on himself in the area of Northeast 2nd Avenue and 71st Street in Little Haiti.

Their mother's cousin, who only identified herself by her first name, Diana, said they had been involved in a fight over a shirt, and the younger brother's friend told him to kill his brother.

"If you don't kill his brother they're going to kill him. That's why there was a dispute over the shirt and then he get out and shoot him three times," Diana said.

Miami Police didn't give any details of the shooting, only saying that two shooting victims were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital where they later died.

Police haven't confirmed the identities of the victims or given any other details about the shooting.

"I wouldn't imagine like, this happening, like, I don't know," friend Keon Mike said. "We loved them boys like they were our little brothers, all of us in here, we're family. We are going to remember them forever."
