Police say a 13-year-old boy is facing attempted murder charges after another teen was wounded during a shooting at a central Florida apartment complex.
The shooting happened during a fight between teens at Lake Harris Cove Apartments on Tuesday.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the injured teen was shot in the upper torso. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and his injuries didn't appear to be life threatening.
Lt. Joe Iozzi says Leesburg police responded to reports of someone with a gun at the complex. Callers told police a fight has started in the courtyard.
Iozzi says the 17-year-old is being charged with a concealed firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
