2 Workers Injured in Hialeah Fork Lift Accident

Two workers were injured after a fork lift fell at a UPS center in Hialeah Monday morning.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. at the center at 6001 East 8th Avenue.

Hialeah Fire Rescue officials said the victims, who suffered head and torso injuries, were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. Their conditions were unknown.

The fork lift was about 12 feet high, officials said. It's unknown what caused it to fall.
