Toddler Found Wandering at Chuck E. Cheese's

Employees at Cutler Bay restaurant find 2-year-old girl alone

The parents of a young girl who was found wandering alone inside a Cutler Bay Chuck E Cheese Thursday night have been located, police said.

The 2 year old, identified only as Andrea, had been found walking around the popular pizza place at 18575 S. Dixie Highway around 9:30 p.m. by employees who were cleaning up for the night.

Employees called 911, and police placed the toddler in the custody of the Department of Children and Families.

Authorities said Andrea's mother and father called police around 2:30 a.m. when they discovered she was missing. They told DCF officials that they thought the girl had been left with another relative.

The girl was sleeping on a couch in DCF's offices in Perrine early Friday morning as officials questioned the parents, who haven't been identified.

Andrea was later reunited with her parents, but DCF is continuing its investigation, they said.
