2 Injured, 2 in Custody in Police-Involved Shooting in Miami Gardens

Two suspects were injured and two others in custody after a police-involved shooting in Miami Gardens Monday.

The incident happened in the area of 179th Street and Northwest 13th Avenue. Police said the four suspects had been involved in an incident just minutes before at a Burger King on Northwest 27th Avenue just a few miles away.

There were four people inside the SUV, three women and one male driver, police said. One of the women was a minor.

After the ramming they took off. At some point the suspects lead officers to Scott Park in Miami Gardens then finally to the Solabella Apartment Complex where two suspects were taken into custody.

Police said the two people were were shot were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions were unknown. Police haven't released the identities of the suspects or said what charges they may be facing.
