Two people were killed after a small plane crashed into a lake in Orlando Friday morning, officials said.
The six-seater Beechcraft Bonanza plane had left Orlando Executive Airport and was heading to Gainesville, Texas, when it crashed into Clear Lake just south of State Road 408 around 11:20 a.m., WESH reported.
A man in his 50s and a teenage girl were killed in the crash, Orange County Sheriff's Office officials said.
The sheriff's office is working with the FAA and NTSB to investigate the cause of the crash.
