2 Men Wanted for Armed Robbery in Dania Beach: BSO

Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for two men who robbed a Dania Beach gas station armed with a semi-automatic weapon last weekend.

It happened around 4:15 a.m. June 4 at the Chevron convenience store located at 4051 Stirling Street.

BSO said two men entered the store and one of them approached the register with a bag of chips as if to make a purchase.

During the transaction, the clerk said he heard the click of a gun being cocked. When he looked up, he saw a second man pointing a semi-automatic rifle at him.

The robbers then demanded the clerk open the register. The first man walked behind the counter and grabbed the money from the register. He then began rummaging behind the counter and eventually grabbed several cartons of cigarettes. The two men fled the store on foot.

The robbers are both described as white males, possibly Hispanic. The gunman wore a grey shirt, dark green long pants and a dark-colored baseball cap. The second suspect wore a black shirt, long black pants and a white and black baseball cap with black writing on the front.

Anyone with information on this crime is urged to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
