2 Pedestrians Dead, 2 Others Injured in Crash: Florida Highway Patrol

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Two pedestrians are dead and two others injured after they were struck by a car in central Florida.

The crash happened Saturday at about 8 a.m. in Sebring, about 80 miles south of Orlando.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say 54-year-old Gregory Tocci drove his 2002 Ford pickup onto the shoulder of a road where four pedestrians were walking. He struck the group with the front of his car, backed onto the roadway and then continued driving before crashing into a concrete pole.

Sixty-two-year-old Holly Fadely and 60-year-old Allen Wilson were both killed in the crash. Sixty-two-year-old William Fadely was critically injured and 73-year-old James Amos sustained serious injuries.

Tocci is in critical condition.

Troopers are uncertain why Tocci drove onto the shoulder of the road. The investigation is ongoing.
