21 Jump Street: Undercover Cops Bust School Drug Trade

21 South Florida high school students were arrested for peddling drugs in school

South Florida law enforcement went all 1980s crime drama on a group of unsuspecting teens, resulting in the arrest of 21 students at a local high school Wednesday.

All of the students collared at Okeechobee High School face drug charges after Sheriff's deputies finally sprung the net on a two-month undercover operation. The arrests happened around 9 a.m.

The drug sting, dubbed Operation No More, resulted in 15 students facing 43 felony drug charges and another six students charged with misdemeanors.

Deputies disguised themselves as high school students, much like the characters in the 80s TV show "21 Jump Street," to get the drop on the drug traders in the school. Johnny Depp and Richard Greico were not involved in any of the arrests.

It's unclear what narcotics were being used and sold on the school's campus. The undercover cop placed in the school as a mole, went to class, did school work and participated in extracurricular activities while he did his reconnaissance.

Nothing like 80s TV to get the drop on unsuspecting teens.
