Authorities are investigating after three people were killed and a fourth was hospitalized with a gunshot to the face in a shooting at a home in Lakeland Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened at a home on East Magnolia Drive in the Combee area of Lakeland, about 30 miles west of Tampa, Polk County Sheriff's Office officials said.
Deputies responding to a call of a shooting at the home found two women and a man dead, officials said. Another man was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to his face.
Authorities haven't identified the victims or said what may have led to the shooting. There is an active and ongoing investigation, officials said.
