Police are investigating after three people were found dead inside a home in northwest Miami-Dade Tuesday in what family members say was a murder-suicide shooting.
The discovery was made at a home in the 5500 block of Northwest 193rd Lane sometime after 3:30 a.m.
Family members say a man shot and killed his wife and stepson before turning the gun on himself.
Jeffrey Eskridge Sr. said his 20-year-old son and son's mother were killed by the woman's husband.
"He was a good boy, he was a good boy, he had his whole life ahead of him," he said. "I don't know if I'm dreaming, is this for real or what."
Miami-Dade Police officials said the shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide but detectives were still investigating.
