Authorities say a crash involving a tanker truck caused a section of Tampa Bay area highway to close for several hours.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that tanker truck spilled about 3,200 gallons of gasoline onto eastbound Interstate 4 in Tampa Tuesday night.
FHP says a pickup truck cut off a car traveling near the tanker truck, causing all three vehicles to collide. Crews worked through the night to clean the area. All lanes were reopened by 5 a.m. Wednesday.
A crash report says the pickup's driver was cited for improper lane change.
