4 Suspects Sought in Opa-locka Shooting: Officials

Police are looking for four men possibly armed with high powered weapons in connection with a shooting in Opa-locka Thursday morning.

According to city officials, the shooting happened at Northwest 135th Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue around 6 a.m.

Initial reports suggest that four men who may have been armed with high power weapons got out of a car and started shooting at another car.

One person was shot and crashed into another car. The victim was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Their condition is not known.

The suspects then took off headed eastbound on Northwest 135th Street.

A search for the suspects is ongoing, with Miami-Dade police helping Opa-locka police in the search.
