One of the manatees had undergone rehabilitation at Miami Seaquarium.

Florida wildlife officials say they're planning to release four rehabilitated manatees.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said in a news release that staff members are releasing three manatees in Brevard County Wednesday morning and a fourth in Martin County that afternoon.

The three manatees being released from the Port St. John boat ramp in Brevard County include an orphaned female calf rescued in Sykes Creek in Merritt Island in May 2013, a cold-stressed male taken from Cut Creek in Jacksonville in December 2014 and a cold-stressed female taken from Banana River in Merritt Island in March 2015. They've been receiving treatment at SeaWorld Orlando.

A cold-stressed male rescued in March 2015 from the St. Lucie River in Stuart is being released from Sandsprit Park in Martin County. He had been treated at Miami Seaquarium.
