Six dogs were killed in a fire at a Miramar home Monday morning, officials said.
The fire was reported at a home in a gated community in the 2600 block of Southwest 181st Terrace, Miramar Fire Rescue officials said.
None of the residents of the home were injured but their six dogs didn't make it out.
Officials said the house sustained severe fire and water damage. The cause of the fire was unknown.
