No. 2 - Police are searching for the person caught on a security camera allegedly setting fire to a car – and themself – outside an Allapattah home early Friday morning.
The scene was captured on camera outside the home near the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 35th Street, where someone can be seen running from the car shortly after it exploded as the person involved appears to brush off flames on their clothing as well.
No. 3 - A former longtime mechanic at Miami International Airport is expected to enter a plea Friday on charges of allegedly sabotaging an American Airlines jetliner that prosecutors say could have caused it to crash with 150 people aboard.
Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani is due in a Miami court after being denied bail earlier this week by a federal judge. On Wednesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Chris McAliley imposed pretrial detention after new evidence presented by prosecutors includes that Alani has a brother in Iraq who may be involved with the Islamic State extremist group

No. 4 - A Broward County circuit judge dismissed the family who took in Nikolas Cruz from a lawsuit filed by the parents of one victim killed on February 14, 2018 during the mass shooting committed by Cruz inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Judge Patti Englander Henning said the allegation in the complaint needed to be more specific, as to what James and Kimberly Snead knew is alleged to have done or not done, and that the complaint needed to more clearly state the law it was relying on.
No. 5 - Presidential candidates will take the stage for a second day Friday to detail their plans for fighting climate change as part of a televised forum hosted by MSNBC. Meanwhile, global climate protests were also set to take place ahead of a U.N. summit in New York, with more than 800 events planned in the U.S. alone.
In total, 12 presidential candidates – 11 Democrats and one Republican – are participating in the two-day, town-hall style event at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
No. 6 - A girl from Pembroke Pines is making a big difference for children across the world. Instead of traditional birthday gifts this year, Michelle Moreno asked for donations to raise money for a non-profit called Charity Water.
