No. 1 – Man Arrested in High-Profile Death of Houston Girl

Police have arrested a man in the high-profile death of a Houston girl. Eric Black is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes. Police believe more people may be involved.

No. 2 – Miami Gardens Man Dead After Shooting

The search is on for the person who shot a Miami Gardens man while he was driving his car, causing him to crash into a fence. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.

No. 3 – Missing Plantation Man

Police in Plantation need your help in finding a missing man. Anthony Costa, 82, is considered ‘at risk.’ He was last seen at his home along Southwest 10th Street in Plantation Saturday morning.

No. 4 – Governor Elect DeSantis Cancels Inaugural Parade

Incoming Governor Ron DeSantis canceled his inagurual parade. He said he just wants to get to work quickly. DeSantis is set to be sworn in on Tuesday.

No. 5 – Tonight on NBC6

It’s a jam-packed night on NBC6. At 8 p.m., see which top stars take home the titles at the Golden Globes. And before that, the Philadelphia Eagles will travel to Chicago to take on the Bears in the NFC Wildcard game. That starts at 4:30 p.m. on NBC6.

No. 6 – Miami-Dade Public School Students Return to School Monday

If you live in Miami-Dade, kids go back to school tomorrow. Students at Miami-Dade County Public Schools will have mini maple waffles, Brazilian buns, vanilla yogurt parfait and chicken patties for breakfast. Broward County school students go back to class on Tuesday.
