Weather wise, isolated showers and storms stick around for much of the day across South Florida through the weekend with high temperatures in the low 90s.

No.1 - A main damaged during a construction incident could limit water pressure and services for residents in Fort Lauderdale and neighboring cities starting Thursday.

Residents should be prepared to possibly be without water starting Thursday morning and going anywhere from 24 to 36 hours. Cities that could be impacted include Fort Lauderdale, Port Everglades, Oakland Park, Davie, Lauderdale By-the-Sea, Sea Ranch Lakes, Tamarac and Wilton Manors.

No. 2 - A man and a 5-year-old are in serious condition after a shooting Wednesday at an apartment building in Lauderhill, police said.

Officials responded before 7 p.m. to the 3100 block of NW 19th Street, at the Lauderhill Pointe Apartments. The shooting happened after the male victim and the shooter got into an altercation, police said.

No. 3 - A South Florida swim instructor was arrested after he was accused of molesting two 9-year-old girls during practice, police said.

Daniel Diaz-Mejia, 20, was arrested Tuesday on two lewd and lascivious molestation charges, according to an arrest report. The incidents are alleged to have happened while Diaz-Mejia was working at the pool at South Dade Park on Southwest 280th Street in Homestead.

No. 4 - Accompanied by some of Puerto Rico's most famous performers, thousands of people marched to the governor's residence in San Juan on Wednesday chanting demands for Gov. Ricardo Rosselló to resign after the leak of online chats that show him making misogynistic slurs and mocking his constituents.

The crowd ranged from teenagers to retirees, with some waving the island's flag printed in black and gray rather than red, white and blue to symbolize their discontent with a government they call corrupt and unresponsive to its people.

No. 5 - Police are searching for the owner of a piglet found wandering at a high school in Pembroke Pines Wednesday.

The pig was found on the baseball field at West Broward High School, Pembroke Pines Police said. Officials said they believe it may be a lost pet "due to its friendly nature."

No. 6 - As the temperatures rise during the summer months in Florida, so do reports of people coming in contact with flesh-eating bacteria that can develop into a life-threatening infection known as nectrotizing fasciitis.
