Weather wise, expect to wake up to temperatures in the 40s. The day will get progressively warmer as the day moves on. Tonight, we’ll see lows in the low-60s.

No. 1 – An investigation is underway in Ft. Lauderdale after a woman was found dead inside of a home. SWAT teams were called to the home after reports of a barricaded subject, but no one was barricaded. 

No. 2. – A 17-year-old is waking up at home a day after getting trapped inside an old bank vault. It took almost two hours, but technicians managed to crack the code to the vault door and set the teen free.

No. 3 – A Miami man, named the Facebook killer, for killing his wife and posting pictures of it, will remain in jail for life. A judge upheld the murder conviction for Derek Medina after he tried appealing by saying he was on bath salts.

No. 4 – The search is on for a man who stole a black pickup truck in Ft. Lauderdale. Police said there was a 2-year-old child inside.  They found a car and the child nearby, but the thief is still on the run.

No. 5 – Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is inviting you to light up the city’s Christmas tree. It’s happening at Miami City Hall at 5 p.m. Popular radio host Enrique Santos will be there. There will be plenty of activities, surprises, food and even a mini parade.

No. 6 – Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group, says he plans to build a new terminal at PortMiami that will house two cruise ships. The cruise ships will sail to Havana and The Bahamas. If approved, the terminal would be completed by late 2021.
