    Weather wise, drier conditions will greet South Florida to start the day before the wet weather arrives in the afternoon – a pattern that will stick around for several more days across the area.

    No. 1 - A North Miami police officer was found not guilty of attempted manslaughter for shooting at a severely autistic man and wounding the man's caretaker, an unarmed behavorial therapist, in 2016.

    The jury found Jonathan Aledda not guilty on two counts of attempted manslaughter. He was found guilty on one count of culpable negligence. Aledda had testified about the July 2016 shooting of Charles Kinsey after officers responded and found him with Arnaldo Rios Soto, a man with severe autism, who was in Kinsey’s care.

    No. 2 - Between $1 and $2 million worth of fentanyl was found hidden in a rental car left in a parking garage at a South Florida hospital, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

    Detectives were alerted to the car that had been left unattended in an isolated part of the garage at Broward Health North on East Sample Road in Pompano Beach early Monday, officials said.

    No. 3 - President Donald Trump is set to formally announce his 2020 bid on Tuesday at a rally in Orlando, where advisers said he aims to connect the dots between the promise of his disruptive first-time candidacy and his goals for another term in the White House.

    No. 4 - Iran is not seeking to wage war against any nation, the country's president said Tuesday while at the same time stressing that Iranians will withstand mounting U.S. pressure and emerge victorious.

    The remarks by President Hassan Rouhani came as Tehran and Washington are edging toward a flashpoint after Iran announced it was breaking compliance with the nuclear deal with world powers and the Trump administration ordered 1,000 more troops to the Middle East.

    No. 5 - President Trump is threatening to remove millions of people living in the country illegally on the eve of formally announcing his re-election bid.

    An administration official said the effort would focus on the more than 1 million people who have been issued final deportation orders by federal judges but remain at large in the country.

    No. 6 – Tuesday marks one year since the death of South Florida rapper XXXTentacion, who died after he was shot during an alleged robbery in front of a business in Deerfield Beach. Four people have been charged in his murder.
