No. 2 - Another chaotic spring break in Miami Beach has prompted police to beef up law enforcement patrols as the vacation season continues.
The latest incidents came Tuesday morning when a lifeguard stand caught fire and all equipment inside was destroyed near 69th Street and Ocean Drive as well as an incident inside of a Collins Avenue lounge that sent one man to the hospital and had another being questioned by police.
In an internal email obtained by NBC 6, Deputy Chief Richard Clements acknowledged last weekend's challenges, saying they underestimated crowd size.
No. 3 - Two college football players from Texas who were robbed and shot while in Miami on spring break over the weekend are considered "clinically stable" and continue to recover at a South Florida hospital, officials said.

Jay Bias and Xavier Morris, who attend Texas A&M University-Commerce, were shot just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Miami Police said. Both were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
No. 4 - Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill to repeal the state's ban on smokable medical marijuana Monday.
Voters approved medical marijuana in 2016, but lawmakers banned smokable forms of the plant in a bill signed by then-Gov. Rick Scott in 2017.
No. 5 - A judge directed prosecutors Monday to publicly release documents related to the search warrant for last year's FBI raids on the home and office of President Donald Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen.
U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III ordered that redacted versions of the documents be released Tuesday. Media organizations had requested access to the records.
