No. 1 – Ultra Music Festival: Everything You Need to Know

Ultra Music Festival is upon us once again. But for the first time in many years, the event is being held at a different venue.

The three-day festival will take place Friday through Sunday at held on Virginia Key, combining two properties: the Miami Marine Stadium Flex Park and the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

No. 2 – Hialeah Man Accused in Deadly Gas Station Double Shooting

A Hialeah man in an ongoing family dispute with his father's ex allegedly shot and killed her, along with another man, early Thursday at a gas station in southwest Miami-Dade.

Oscar Blanco, 44, is facing two counts of second-degree murder in the fatal shootings of 44-year-old Roxana Llorens and 55-year-old Randall Browning, both of Homestead, according to Miami-Dade police.

No. 3 – Juan Guaido's Wife in South Florida

The wife of Venezuela's opposition leader and interim president Juan Guaido is in South Florida to meet local leaders.

Fabiana Rosales' visit comes a day after Nicolas Maduro's regime banned him from holding public office for 15 years.

No. 4 – NBC News to Host First Democratic Primary Debate in Miami

The first Democratic presidential debate of the 2020 election will be held in Miami in June.

The debate will take place on Wednesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 27. The events will be broadcast across NBC and MSNBC, as well as with real-time Spanish translations on Telemundo. Viewers in South Florida will be able to watch the debate on NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 on air and on their digital platforms.

No. 5 – 'Rebuild Florida' Deadline

Friday is the final day to apply for the Rebuild Florida program that helps pay for damage caused by Hurricane Irma. To be eligible, you must be a homeowner or property owner with a low-to-moderate income.

No. 6 – Disney Parks Ban Smoking, Changes Stroller Guidelines

Walt Disney World and Disneyland recently announced some changes that could impact guests on their next trip to the popular theme parks.

Beginning May 1, designated smoking areas will no longer be found inside Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme parks, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Downtown Disney in California.
