TROPICAL STORM ANDREA NEARS FLORIDA
 
At least two tornados touched down in the Tampa Bay area early Thursday, causing minor damage. The National Weather Service says no injuries were reported. The tornados were spotted in Myakka City and Sun City Center, both south of Tampa.
 
NBA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
 
The Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs are set for Game One of the NBA Finals in Miami on Thursday night. Miami is chasing history with the chance to finish with one of the best full-season records in the NBA. If Miami beats San Antonio, they will finish with 82 wins, including playoffs. Only the Chicago Bulls have ever topped 82 wins. Chicago had 87 wins in the 1995-96 season and 84 wins in the 1996-97 season.
 
LEADERS UPSET OVER SCOTT'S VETO OF IMMIGRATION DRIVER LICENSE BILL
 
Hispanic leaders and politicians were angered and disappointed over Florida Gov. Rick Scott's decision to veto a bill that would have allowed some young unauthorized immigrants to receive a temporary driver's license.
 
AGENCY ACCUSES US LABOR DEPT. OF BIAS
 
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the agency in charge of job creation, accused the U.S. Department of Labor of conducting a politicized investigation against it and asked for an inquiry of the federal agency's probe of the state agency.
 
IRS QUESTIONS BONDS FROM GOP DONOR DEVELOPMENTS
 
The IRS is questioning hundreds of millions of bonds issued by a development district linked to a major Republican donor.

DORAL HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS

Doral City officials will hold a news conference to inform and update residents and business owners on changes in the storm surge/flood areas. The City will also provide updated procedures and emergency preparedness plans for the hurricane season.
