NO BOND FOR MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING PREGNANT WIFE

A judge has denied bond to a 33-year-old Orlando man charged with fatally shooting his wife, who was eight months pregnant with twins. Michael Boyce faces first-degree murder charges in the death of his 23-year-old wife. He initially told deputies Alexis Boyce shot herself in the head, but later said he accidentally shot her. Alexis Boyce and one of the twins were pronounced dead. The other twin remains hospitalized.

4 INJURED IN FIERY FLORIDA CAR CRASH

Authorities are investigating after four people were gravely injured in a fiery crash in Fort Myers.

Lee County Sheriff's deputies say a vehicle carrying four people was speeding before it crashed into a concrete wall at a church and burst into flames. A Good Samaritan was able to pull one of the victims out of the burning vehicle, but authorities say the driver and two other passengers were trapped.

FEDERAL PROBE SOUGHT IN FLORIDA PRE-K DIABETIC ISSUE

A federal investigation is being sought into claims that diabetic children are being turned away from many Florida pre-kindergarten programs. The American Diabetes Association and Southern Poverty Law Center want the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division to examine whether pre-k programs routinely discriminate against children with diabetes.

PAGEANT FOR GIRLS WITH DISABILITIES HELD IN FLORIDA

A non-profit organization is hosting a pageant for girls with disabilities in Broward County. ARC Broward is holding its Miss ARC Broward Pageant Saturday and Sunday at the historic Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. The event celebrates girls ages five through 17 with disabilities. The organization provides services to children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

OFFICIALS WARN BOATERS TO WATCH OUT FOR MANATEES

Florida wildlife officials are warning boaters to watch out for manatees. The migration season for the endangered species began Friday. Manatees are now swimming south toward warm water refuges. Officials in Broward County have instituted new speed limits.

TEENS TRIED AS ADULTS FOR HOLLYWOOD GANG RAPE

Three teens are being tried as adults for beating and raping a 16-year-old girl in Hollywood. Authorities said an 18-year-old raped the girl while four other teens held her down. The victim told police she was kicked, had her hair pulled, was thrown down the stairs and even had her face smashed on the concrete. Two of the minors are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
