POLICE SEARCH FOR TRUCK AFTER FINDING WOMAN'S BODY

Police in Miami-Dade County area searching for the driver of a truck who witnesses saw put a body back into a truck and drive away on Saturday. A short time later an 18-year-old woman's body was found at a construction site.

SECRET SURVEILLANCE ISSUE IN FLORIDA TERROR CASE

Two brothers accused of plotting to detonate bombs in New York City are due in Miami federal court for a hearing on whether they have a right to see evidence from secret U.S. surveillance programs.

DOLPHINS WIN; BUCCANEERS, JAGUARS LOSE

The Miami Dolphins beat the Atlanta Falcons and are 3-0 for the first time in 11 years. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 23-3 to the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 45-17.

ROBBER SHOT BY STORE OWNER

A Jacksonville store owner shot a masked man who entered the Holiday Grocery store Sunday night and demanded money from the clerk. The owner came from another room and ordered the man to drop his gun. When he didn't, the store owner shot him in the chest. Police say he's in serious condition.

INMATES GRADUATE FROM FAITH-BASED PROGRAM

Five inmates are graduating from the Charlotte County Jail's faith-based program. The program began last year with the goal of providing inmates with a broad education and support system that can be used once they get out of jail.

POMPANO BEACH TESTS EMERGENCY SYSTEM

The City of Pompano Beach will be testing their emergency notification system on Monday by calling the entire community. The calls will be made in the morning and will continue until the entire database has been attempted.
