No. 1 - A 5-year-old girl has died a day after she was in a car crash on Interstate 95 that also killed her 2-year-old sister, her family said.
In a Facebook post Monday night, Annette Bennet said her daughter, Keanna, "fought a good fight this past 24 hours. She gain her precious little wings ... Thanks for all your prayers but it is DONE."
FHP officials said Keanna and her sister, Akeena, were not wearing restraint devices Sunday morning when the Toyota Corolla they were in crashed north of Sample Road in Deerfield Beach.
No. 2 - Bahamian authorities are investigating the murder of the South Florida owner of a popular Bahamas tourist bar who was gunned down at his home in Bimini over the weekend.

Alain Perez, the owner of Bimini Big John's in Alice Town, was shot multiple times at his Bimini Bay home early Sunday, Royal Bahamas Police Superintendent Henry Rolle confirmed to NBC 6. Perez, a 47-year-old native of Miami-Dade, has been living on the island for several years.
No. 3 - The Broward Teachers Union is voting on a tentative agreement that would give teachers a pay raise across the board. This comes after the union and the Broward School Board reached a deal last week.
No. 4 - Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido has taken to the streets with an activist who had been detained, Leopoldo Lopez, and a small contingent of heavily armed soldiers in an uprising as the government said it was putting down a small coup bid.
Moments earlier, Guaido appeared in an early morning video shot next to a Caracas air base surrounded by several heavily armed soldiers backed by a few armored vehicles.
No. 5 - The family of a 19-year-old man who is suspected of opening fire on a crowd of about 100 congregants during a Passover celebration at a Poway synagogue said their son is now part of a "history of evil."
The Earnest family released a written statement on Monday condemning the alleged acts of their son, John T. Earnest, who faces one count of first degree murder and three counts of attempted murder in connection with the shooting at Chabad of Poway on Saturday.
No. 6 - At the Miami-Dade County courthouse, people are lining up to go over traffic tickets that haven't been paid. Some say they didn't even know about them.
NBC 6 Investigators found nearly one million driving licenses were suspended in one year between July 2017 and June 2018. More than 70% of those suspensions are because of unpaid traffic tickets and court fines.
