Weather wise, an ever so slight cool down is in the forecast with temperatures around average for this time of year with breezy conditions and an isolated shower for parts of South Florida.
No. 1 - Florida Highway Patrol officials say a person was killed in a trooper-involved shooting on Tuesday in northwest Miami-Dade.
FHP spokesperson Alejandro Camacho told NBC 6 the trooper is okay after the shooting, which occurred in the area of 16000 Northwest 7th Avenue near the Golden Glades interchange.
No. 2- Prosecutors are expected to rest their case in the trial of suspended North Miami Police officer Jonathan Aledda. Officials say Aledda shot unarmed behavioral therapist Charles Kinsey - who had his arms up in the air - in July of 2016.
No. 3 - Miramar mayor Wayne Messam is staying put after he received more than 86 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s elections -- while Scott Brook won the special election to once again become mayor of Coral Springs.

No. 6 - Miami Beach could become the second South Florida to ban sunscreens that contain two ingredients that some say are harmful to coral reef in the area.
City commissioners will discuss the possible ban Wednesday, which would ban high SPF sunscreens that include oxybenzone and octinoxate. Earlier this year, Key West passed a similar ordinance that will phase out the products and ban them from being sold.
