A 62-year-old woman was sleeping in her second-floor apartment when she was hit by one of two bullets that shot in through her window Saturday morning.
Her 11-year-old grandson says he was sleeping next his grandmother when both bullets came through the window.
"[One bullet] hit over to the second floor bedroom and [the second bullet] was the one that hit my grandma," the grandson says.
The woman's family says she is a grandmother to 18 children, six of which were inside the apartment.

According to police, the woman was shot in the arm.
