Seven children were among 16 injured in a crash involving a school bus in Sarasota County Tuesday morning.
The bus was on its way to Oak Park School in Sarasota and had 12 special needs student on board when it was involved in the collision with another car around 9:15 a.m., WFLA reported.
A school bus driver and school bus attendant were also injured in the crash. All injuries were considered non-life threatening, though one 14-year-old was reportedly airlifted.
The crash also knocked over power lines in the area.
