The Broward Sheriff's Office is looking for an ATM thief who displayed his flair for fashion, or lack thereof, in surveillance video.
The man, wearing white socks, sandals and loud printed pants was captured on video as he withdrew money from an ATM at the BP gas station at 2091 West Oakland Park Boulevard. Detectives say he was using a card stolen from a woman’s car earlier that day.
On June 11, Tamika Guerrier, 40, of Orlando reported that someone smashed her car window while she was visiting Secret Woods park in Dania Beach. The thief took her black leather tote bag and cell phone. Later that afternoon, someone used her Publix credit union card at the BP gas station, withdrawing more than $400.
The thief also bought a case of Corona beer and gassed up his car, a white Nissan Maxima with a sun roof.
