A lawsuit was filed in a federal court last week by a progressive advocacy group against the Departments of Justice and Housing and Urban Development, calling them to release documents related to changing federal policy toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
The organization filed the lawsuit in Washington, D.C. after the agencies failed to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests that Right Wing Watch, a project of People for the American Way, sent in September.
