Police in Miami Gardens say they found a rifle at a home Monday thanks to some alert neighbors.
Officials say officers responded after they received several calls of people walking with a rifle near the 17500 block of Northwest 12th Avenue.
Officers detained two people near Scott Lake Elementary, but they were unarmed and were released. The rifle was later found in the 17800 block of Northwest 11th Avenue.
No one was arrested, officials said.
