Amber Alert Cancelled for Two Toddlers Allegedly Taken by Parents Near Tampa

A Florida Amber Alert that was issued for a pair of young toddlers who reportedly were taken by their homeless mother from the home of their current legal guardian was cancelled Monday after they were found safe.

Rylan Williams, 3, and her 1-year old brother, Mason, were taken from a home in Lecanto on Saturday after their mother, 38-year-old Stacey Williams, entered and grabbed them, authorities said. Williams reportedly called the guardian earlier in the day asking to see the children and was denied.

She also smashed the guardian’s phone when she tried to call 911 and scratched the victim’s face, authorities said.

Police said the child’s father, 29-year-old Ryan Williams, was also with them.

The children and Ryan and Stacey Williams were all found safe in Georgia, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office said.
