A man was killed early Tuesday in Miami after he got into an argument with a taxi driver and hopped out of the cab into expressway traffic.
The incident happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the Palmetto Expressway near Northwest 25th St.
Police said the cab's passenger got into a fight with the driver, exited the taxi and was hit by another car.
The taxi driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The police investigation caused backups and delays for miles in both directions.
