Authorities are searching for an armed serial robber who has been targeting Walgreens stores in Broward and Palm Beach.
The suspect has targeted stores in Tamarac, Pompano Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach Police said Thursday.
In the most recent incident, the suspect used a knife to rob the store at 1601 S. Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach on September 9, police said. The man asked for a pack of cigarettes then pulled a knife from his waistband and demanded money from the cash register.
Police said the suspect is believed to be 30 to 35 years old, heavy set, with a dark mustache and goatee.
